DJI Zenmuse H20T

DJI Zenmuse H20T specs and how UAV Imaging uses it for industrial inspection, mapping and thermal across Alberta. 20 MP zoom (1200mm equivalent), 12 MP wide, radiometric thermal, laser rangefinder.

The DJI Zenmuse H20T is the standard payload on UAV Imaging's Matrice 300 RTK. A single quad-sensor gimbal carries the four optical systems that cover the bulk of industrial drone work — zoom, wide, radiometric thermal, and a laser rangefinder — so one flight delivers most of the inspection scope without payload swaps.

How UAV Imaging uses it

Why the quad-sensor design matters

Pre-H20T inspection required either two flights (one for visible, one for thermal) or a payload swap mid-flight (cost time, cost battery, risk error). The H20T captures the full multi-sensor scope on a single sortie. For a 30-flare inspection program that previously needed two days of flying, the H20T compresses the same scope into a single day on site.

How it pairs with other payloads

The H20T is the everyday payload. For RTK-precision mapping deliverables, UAV Imaging swaps in the dedicated mapping payload set. For methane survey, the Pergam Falcon laser sensor replaces the H20T. For confined-space and indoor work, the entire airframe changes to the Flyability Elios 2. The H20T owns the standard outdoor inspection envelope.
